Interesting picture, so far to say. But I guess you still have some way to go ;)
Try using harder contrast and maybe a brighter red (give the outstanding color a meaning).
A relocation of the figure could make the pantig more interesting. It's somewhat to much in the middle of it while having too much space around it (wanting to put himself in the middle of attention) while also giving some kind of "let me alone" feeling.
